Who am I? What do I do? Where am I going? Big questions that surely many of us ask ourselves.

I’m Emilfe Salinas. I was born in a small city called Maturín located in the state of Monagas, Venezuela.

I’m a Cuban-Venezuelan mix with green eyes, sometimes red-haired. I can dance salsa and merengue until dawn or jump and give it all at a good rock concert, but always until dawn. Although pop music isn’t my preference, a good lyric is always welcome.

I grew up with the stories and flavors of my family. I developed with the colors of the world. I graduated in Social Communication in Caracas, studied photography in London, and now live in the United States.

I am grateful to life for this journey and the beautiful people I have encountered along the way. I have the courage to always be vulnerable and I never forget to walk with humility and simplicity.

I dedicate myself to capturing expressions and moments, because to me, photography is just that: a person behind a lens capturing everything they observe.
